✔ Carters Lake - Head to the lake! The sparkling waters and undeveloped rugged shoreline of Carters Lake provide beautiful surroundings for a variety of recreational opportunities, including camping, fishing, picnicking, boating, hiking, and bird watching. There is a privately run, full-service marina offering boat docks and boat rentals on the lake, and Carters Dam is the tallest earthen dam east of the Mississippi River.

✔ Hiking Trails - Lace up your hiking shoes and explore the mountains. Both Rich Mountain and Cohutta Wildlife Management Areas are close by and offer endless adventure and breathtaking views. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, as well as opportunities for fishing, hunting, mountain biking, and bird watching in these beautiful natural areas. This cabin is near the end of a private street in Carters Lake Estates. Carters Lake Visitors Center and access to boat ramps and beaches are a short 10 min drive. In just 20 minutes, enjoy restaurants and shopping in downtown Ellijay.

Please note that having your own vehicle is essential for convenient transportation during your stay. Our neighborhood features fully paved roads, with only the last 0.3 miles being a bit rocky. Getting to our home is a breeze, as there are no steep inclines, and you won't require a special vehicle. The road access is smooth and suitable for regular sedans and SUVs.

Ample Parking on property to accommodate 4 vehicles.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
